bathroom project
AKBM is pleased to be working with David and Michelle to remodel their master
bathroom. This bathroom was transformed from builder-grade white cabinetry
and tile to something that belongs on a cover of a magazine.
The design incorporates rich cabinetry and natural stone tile to create
a rich, warm and beautiful environment. We faux painted
the walls with a Fresco effect which provides a weathered stone look. We
used neutral creme and gold tones which complement the tile beautifully.
This project is a fine example of timeless design. The natural stone tile
and neutral colors are classic and will never go out of style.

Here is a look at the orginal bathroom. The tranformation from this
is spectacular. |
This is no doubt the prettiest bathroom we have ever created. The
design is neo-classical, incorporating warm neutral tones with rich
cabinetry. We faux painted the walls using creme and gold tones which
match the tile and cabinetry beautifully. |

Here is a look at the original vanity cabinets. Sure wish we had
a dollar for every one of these we've seen. |
Welcome to the Ritz Carlton!!! The cabinets are cherry with a black
glaze finish. Notice how we finished off the exterior of each cabinet
with a door panel. The center cabinet has a leaded glass door which
of course we lighted to display Michelle's nicknacks. The cabinet hardware
is venetian bronze which matches the vanity faucets. |

This was the original shower. The door was very small and the shower
hidden from view. We will open up the entry wall and enlarge the door
as part of this remodel. |
Here is the beautiful new shower. We used a beautiful italian chiseled
edge tile set off with a chocolate border. The shower faucets are venetian
bronze. Notice the custom soap niches we built into the walls. |

Check out the beautiful tile floor. We used a chiseled edge Italian
travertine tile in 3 different sizes to create an stunning floor design. |
The granite is called Geriba, and it is absolutely stunning. It
matches the tile and cabinetry beautifully. |
