bathroom project

AKBM is pleased to be working with David and Michelle to remodel their hallway bathroom. This bathroom is the main bathroom used by guests, and the homeowners wanted it to be really nice.

We used natural marble tile in the shower and on the bathroom floors. What makes the shower special is the carved stone decorative border which is really beautiful.

The bathroom vanity cabinet is a beautiful furniture piece in cherry with a matching mirror. And of course, the shower enclosure is frameless with gold plated hinges and pulls.

We usually like to faux paint the bathroom walls, but in this case we painted the walls a golden brown color to accent the tile, and we glazed the trim to give the woodwork a beautiful antique finish.

Here is the new powder room. Quite a stunning transformation from the original room. The color palette was chosen to blend with the adjoining family room.

We especially like the tile design chosen for the shower. It incorporates 4x4 marble tiles demarcated by the carved stone borders.

Here's a look at the vanity cabinet. The finish is a deep traditional cherry. The granite top is very beautiful and complements the overall tones used in the design.

We used a natural marble stone floor tile set on the diagonal inset within a picture frame border.
