AKBM is pleased to be working with Greg and Diane to remodel their kitchen. Greg and Diane entertain frequently and wanted to transform their builder-grade white kitchen into a showcase for their entertainment needs.
After consultation with Greg and Diane, AKBM recommended Wellborn cabinetry in Honey glazed finish with Antique Evergreen used for the Island. AKBM custom built a massive range hood to accomodate the professional grade 48" Dacor range.
The granite countertops selected complement the cabinet finishes and add additional design elements into the kitchen. Gallo Beach is used on the Antique Evergreen island and Peacock Gold for the main counters.

Here was the original kitchen. It had the usual builder-grade white cabinets and countertops. One interesting note is the oak hardwood floors. There are not many cabinets that really look good next to this type of flooring. Wait till you see the end result!! |

Along the exterior wall was a window and some large pantry cabinets. |
We designed a new work center with an entertainment sink. Check out the spectacular lighted china cabinet and the sub-zero refrigerator with door panels. |

Here was the original island. The new kitchen design incorporates a massive new island which is really spectacular. |
Here you can see the beautiful honey colored tile floor. It has soft hues of honey and cream which match the cabinetry beautifully. |
